Rat trap Hiro R1

The Hiro rat trap is a highly effective mechanical rat trap made in Sweden, based on unique, patented technology. The trap's lid design prevents the rat from reaching the bait from the side – the trap is only triggered when the rat lifts the lid to get to the bait.

The trap's Care-tec® solution spreads the scent of the bait through the lid, effectively luring rats into the trap. Lift-tec® technology ensures that the trap only goes off when the rat is standing with both front paws in front of the bait and lifts the lid. Speed-tec® then delivers a fast, powerful strike, killing the rat instantly.

The trap is designed to be easier and safer to handle than traditional traps. It is especially suitable for small and medium-sized rats and is made from 100 % recycled plastic.

1. Bait the trap
Open the lid and add an attractive bait, such as peanut butter or sausage. Close the lid.
2. Position the trap
Place the trap where rats move about. Preferably put it in a somewhat sheltered spot, as rats prefer to eat where they feel safe.
3. Set the trap
Only set the trap once it is in position, by turning the striker arm back.
4. Check the trap
Check the trap regularly to make sure the bait is still in place and that any catch is removed promptly.
