The moment that changed everything
Our story began in a situation few would see as an opportunity. The end of a long career forced us to look ahead and think about what would come next. At the same time, the idea was born to build something of our own – a company founded on quality products, long-term partnerships and uncompromising customer service.
Before Ropo Garden even existed, we drove to Sweden to meet manufacturers whose products we believed in straight away. They weren't known in Finland, but they had everything we were looking for: quality workmanship, functionality, timeless design and products you could sell with a clear conscience. When the first partnership agreements were signed, it was time to found the company.
We wanted to find products we believe in ourselves and whose quality meets customers' expectations year after year.
An office in the bedroom, a warehouse on a few shelves
The first office was in a bedroom. The stock fitted on a few shelves, products were delivered to customers directly from Sweden and we did almost everything ourselves. Our days were filled with sales, customer service, marketing, building the website, invoicing and logistics. Excel served as our ERP system and paper binders were part of everyday life.
Although our resources were small, our goal was big from the very start. We didn't want to build a company that sells as many different products as possible. We wanted to find products we believe in ourselves, whose quality lives up to customers' expectations year after year.

Step by step
As our customers' trust grew, so did our warehouse, premises and team. Over the years the range expanded with new international quality brands such as Silverline, Greenline, Berglund, Veito, Ecopots and Blackstone. Every new partnership has been built around the same idea: we only represent products we can genuinely stand behind.
Today Ropo Garden operates nationwide in partnership with resellers, retail chains and garden-sector businesses. Our products can be found in thousands of Finnish gardens, terraces and homes, and they are also delivered beyond Finland's borders.
Long-term success is built on trust. It's earned by keeping promises, answering the phone and solving problems.

One thing hasn't changed
Although the company has grown a lot since its early days, one thing hasn't changed. We still believe that long-term success is built on trust. It is earned by keeping promises, answering the phone, solving problems and doing things a little better than customers expect.
Ropo Garden didn't happen by chance. It has been built on courage, hard work, continuous learning and the desire to make things a little better every day.
The first decade is just the beginning.
