The flying owl bird scarer is an effective visual deterrent for nuisance birds such as pigeons, crows, jackdaws and gulls. The scarer's realistic owl shape and large eyes make birds recognise it as their natural enemy.
The owl's moving wings sway in the wind, creating a threatening motion that increases the deterrent effect and makes the scarer even more effective at frightening birds away.
